• This class is for those with no swimming experience at all • This class is designed to teach participants how to get comfortable in the water

• Learning how to breath: techniques for inhaling and exhaling air, how to plug your nose in the water, and correct techniques for blowing bubbles

• Learning how to back float

• Learning basic swimming motor functions: basic arm techniques for Doggy-paddling and Back-Floating, learning basic kicking techniques, and body positioning

• The goal is to get participants “Water Safe” or able to get themselves to a wall (or step) safely if they accidentally fall into a pool
